About
Thank you for visiting our blog! “Prepare for Imam Mahdi” is a group dedicated to spreading awareness about the 12th Imam (atfs) and our responsibilities towards him. Imam Mahdi (atfs) has been in the greater occultation (ghaybatul kobrah) for nearly 12 centuries and many generations of believers have come and left.
Imam Ali ibn Husain al-Sajjad (as) has said: “Indeed the people who live during the time of his occultation, have firm belief in his (the 12th Imam’s) Imamate and are awaiting his advent are the best people of every age since Allah, Great is His Mention, has granted them from the intellect, understanding and cognizance needed which would permit them to live during the period of the occultation, as if they were living during the time of his advent.”

We are truly blessed and privileged to live during this era. On this journey towards actively awaiting Imam Mahdi (atfs), our goal is to remind and inspire ourselves as well as our fellow brothers and sisters to seek nearness to him as well as to serve him. Only Allah knows when his blessed reappearance will be but we should all strive to be prepared as if it were tomorrow.
The three main topics which we cover in this blog include Faith & Spirituality, News, and Health. The goal of the Faith & Spirituality section is to help encourage us to be in regular remembrance of the Imam (atfs) and inspire us to seek our path to serve him. In the News segment, we highlight pertinent current event topics that affect Muslims around the world and may relate to the signs of reappearance covered in hadiths (please note: we do not claim any definite connections as Allah knows best). Lastly, in the Health section, given that we have been dealing with the pandemic for the last 2+ years, our focus is to share with our brothers and sisters ways to maintain our health both physically and mentally.
We look forward to you joining us in this important journey and we are open to hearing your
comments and suggestions.
